Clear Aligners – Smilelign

Straighten your smile discreetly with Smilelign clear aligners

If you’ve never had orthodontic treatment, or your teeth have moved since you had braces, Smilelign clear aligners offer a discreet and convenient way to achieve a straighter smile.

Smilelign uses a series of custom-made, virtually invisible aligners that gently guide your teeth into their planned positions. Unlike traditional fixed braces, there are no metal brackets or wires, and the aligners can be removed when you eat, drink and brush your teeth.

A discreet way to straighten your teeth

Clear aligners are designed to fit comfortably over your teeth and gradually move them throughout your treatment. Because they are clear and removable, you can continue with your normal day-to-day routine with minimal disruption.

Smilelign clear aligners may be suitable for a range of orthodontic concerns, including:

  • Crooked or crowded teeth
  • Gaps between teeth
  • Twisted or rotated teeth
  • Certain bite problems
  • Teeth that have moved following previous orthodontic treatment

Your dentist will assess your teeth and bite to determine whether Smilelign is suitable for you and explain what treatment could involve.

Your treatment with Smilelign

Your treatment is planned around your individual smile. You’ll receive a series of custom-made clear aligners, with each aligner designed to make gradual adjustments to the position of your teeth.

You’ll wear your aligners as advised by your dental team and move through the series as your treatment progresses. Regular reviews allow us to monitor your progress and make sure your treatment is progressing as planned.

Treatment times vary from person to person and depend on the amount and complexity of tooth movement required. Your dentist will discuss your expected treatment time with you following your assessment.

Keep your new smile straight

Once your Smilelign treatment is complete, retainers are an important part of maintaining your results. Teeth can naturally move over time, so wearing your retainers as advised helps keep your teeth in their new positions.
