Emergency Dental Care

Dental emergencies can happen at any time. We aim to see emergency patients within 24 hours at our Hythe clinic. Common emergencies include severe toothache, broken teeth, lost fillings, abscesses or knocked-out teeth.

• Uncontrolled bleeding

We will aim to see you on the day or within 48 hours depending on availability for urgencies such as:

• Lost Fillings
• Broken Tooth
• Lost Crowns

Cold Sores

We recommend waiting until your cold sore has completely healed before attending an appointment, as cold sores are extremely contagious, the virus will be present in your saliva not just in the area infected.  Blindness can result if the saliva comes in contact with either the clinician or patients eyes.  Always contact the surgery for advice if you are unsure whether to attend an appointment.
