Originally from Northern Ireland I dual qualified as a Dental Hygienist and Therapist from the University Of Portsmouth Dental Academy in July 2011 with Bsc Hons.

Working closely with periodontal specialists on the course enables me to offer patients the highest standard of periodontal care and advise patients on their optimal home care regimes.

In addition to my hygiene qualification the Therapy side of the degree enables me to carry out a wide range of routine restorations, tooth Whitening and extractions on primary teeth.

With my role now expanding to clinical lead you can be sure that the Dental Suite will not only strive to provide the gold standard in patient care but in Health, safety and cross infection control.

Outside of work I’m a sports fanatic, being a keen rugby player I captained the Universities 1st XV rugby team and represented Ulster at U19 level. Off the rugby pitch I enjoy nothing more than socialising with friends and going for a stroll with my partner along Southsea seafront.
