Botox (Botulinum toxin) is widely used to block muscle nerve signals and contract muscles. By injecting Botox into painful muscles it is a convenient way to relieve muscular pain of the mouth. More commonly Botox is a less painful way of reducing wrinkles and frown lines to look younger.

How Botox is used by a dentist?

How long do the results stay?

The Botox treatment can take up to 45 minutes and allows you to return home immediately after the injections. On average, the results can last from 4 to 6 months, until the toxin is broken down in the body. You may need to have Botox injections every 4-6 months to maintain the desired appearance or muscular pain relief.
