Amalgam Free Practice

At The Dental Suite we look first at the safety and well-being of our patients; this is supported by our practice of amalgam free fillings.

Traditionally dentists used amalgam to fill cavities, this was a combination of metals including about 50% mercury, although it is durable and effective, it caused a number of serious health problems.

Today, there are various effective and cosmetically superior alternatives to amalgam. At The Dental Suite our main priority is your comfort and long-term health, therefore we endorse the use of amalgam free fillings at our practice.

Amalgam Removal

If you currently have amalgam filling, we are able to safely remove them using a high-speed evacuation system that will not cause you any harm. After the amalgam is removed, we will replace the filling with an amalgam-free alternative.
